Displaying answer values in the raw data
When I look at the raw data for my survey, I see answer codes (1,2 etc.). Can I get the actual answer values?
Yes. When downloading the excel report, make sure you choose the “display answer values” option.
- Login » Surveys » Manage Data
- Select export data under manage data section.
- Select display answer values and click on download. Your report will be downloaded with the answer values rather than answer codes.
I have custom scaling enabled on my survey -- How do I display the custom scale values on the output of the excel file?
If you have custom scaling enabled -- when you choose "Display Answer Values" -- the values are the items from the custom scale.
